Hi, I have came across some info that I think may help. It is printed in the Habersham Co., GA Historical Book. page # 246 "After Daniel's (Sisk) death at King's Mountain, his widow, Rachel, was left with four minor children: Gabriel, Robert, Betty and Nellie. Rachel married Gabriel Loving, 7, Aug 1781. In 1784, the Wilkes County court placed the orphaned children under the guardianship of Gabriel Loving." This was entered by : Betty Sisk, her source is listed as "Book of Ages" by Charleta J Sisk Dunn. If I can be of any other help let me know, I am a descendant of Gabriel Sisk & Mary Holcomb, John Sisk & Adeline Lovelady, Martin England Sisk & Martha Roberts, Wm Edwin Sisk & Anna R Simmons, Edwin Wm Sisk & M Ellene Fain, Bernice E Sisk & Russel Lee Ellis, Dana (me). Thanks, danamkinsey@alltel.net
