      OBITUARY OF CELIA FRANCIS WITT LUTTRELL
      Celia Francis Witt was born in the state of Illinois January 11, 1836; died at her home near Brumley, January 19, 1921 at 7;30 p. m. after a lingering illness of three weeks. All that skilled physicians, loving hears and willing hands could do was done but alas, her work was done; the lord said "It is enough, come up higher." She, with her parents came to Miller county in the year 1840 and has resided in Miller county ever since except one year she lived in the state of Iowa. In the year 1862, she was united in marriage to Henry Luttrell and to this union were born 8 children--two girls and six boys, her husband and George, the oldest son, having preceded her to the spirit world many years ago. Those still living are B. D., W. S. and H. M. Luttrell of Brumley; and J. J. and Bluford Luttrell of Miami, Oklahoma;
      Mrs. Joe Duncan and Mrs. Greenberry Pemberton of Brumley. She was the grand- mother of 43 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren. She had lived a devoted Christian.

      Funeral services were held from the Mount Union Church January 21st at which time the writer tried to speak words of comfort to the sorrowing ones from Jobe 14;14. "If a man die shall he live again"--after which all that was mortal of our beloved sister was conveyed to the cemetery near by and there amid sobs and sighs of a host of relatives and friends was laid beside her husband to await the second coming of our blessed Saviour, at which time all that are in their graves shall come forth; They that have done good to life eternal, but they have done evil to everlasting destruction. How consoling the thought when we think of
      the words of the beloved, which died in the Lord; from henceforth, yea sayeth the spirit, they shall rest from their labors and their works to follow them." And now dear ---es let us bow our heads in humble submission to Him that doeth all things well and until that great day let us say, "Dear Mother, farewell."
