      Nellie Pauline "Polly" Cameron, 86, of Madisonville, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at East Tennessee Health Care.

      She was the widow of James Edward "Red" Cameron, and was a member of Chestua Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, James Stephen Cameron; her parents, M.S. and Rhoda Stratton Sloan; two sisters, Ruth Harris and Jean Stephens; and three brothers, Wright, Robert and Quinton Sloan.

      Survivors include one son, John Cameron of Madisonville; two grandchildren, Sharon Elaine Cameron of Madisonville, and James Michael Cameron of Washington; one brother, Royce Sloan of Madisonville; and several nieces and nephews.

      Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Biereley-Hale Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Watson officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Little Tellico Cemetery.

      The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

      Biereley-Hale Funeral Home of Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
