      Bird and Pennsylvania Norman began living together and had three children. They were then married and had their fourth child. Pennsylvania Deatherage lived at Rockingham Co., North Carolina, until between 1820 and 1830. In 1830 she was living in Gallatin Co., Kentucky. She died on 16 Jun 1868 [Wheeler] in Carroll Co., Kentucky..

      Bird wrote his will on 28 Apr 1815. He mentions his mother Elizabeth, his brother James, his children Ellender Green Norman Deatherage, Granville Norman Deatherage, Sarah Norman Deatherage and Elizabeth Deatherage, the first three being born before his marriage. Land of Philemon Deatherage is mentioned. He named his friend Nicholas Dalton as his executor. The will was witnessed by Wm Jennings and Chas Harris. The will was probated in May 1815.
