      Timothy Sisk
      Elizabeth Sisk

Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of us--William Gaines, John Triplett, James Barnett and Martin Sisk. At a court held for Culpeper Co., the 21st day of May this indenture was proved by the oaths of John Triplett, James Barnett and Martin Sisk, witnesses thereto.

Transcriber's Note: This deed was written 6 days after Daniel Sisk was killed at the Battle of Kings Mountain. The deed indicates that they are deeding the land because they are "moveing". Did they go to NC to be with their daughter-in-law and small grandchildren??

I have transcribed with the spelling used in the Deed. There is only one word I could not make out--it's a little word--three letters--it's indicated with Question Marks. The reference to the tree markings were of course handwritten and look different than typed letters.
