      Madisonville Democrat, Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1942:

      Mr. Clint Millsaps, 84 yrs. of age, died Tues. at 11:30 am at his home near Toqua. Mr. and Mrs. Millsaps had been married 63 years; 36 years of that time they spent in Blount Co., near Chilhowee Church, during the remainder they lived at the home where he died.

      He was a member of Citico Bapt. Church and had been a faithful church worker for 62 yrs.

      He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christine Curtis Millsaps; seven sons, Will, Andy, Walter and Austin, of Vonore; R.A. of Philmore, Ca; Henry of Philadelphia and Erskine of Massena, N.Y.; three daughters, Mrs. Joe White of Vonore, Mrs. Martha Curtis of Loudon and Miss Cora Millsaps of Santa Paula Ca.; 43 grandchildren and 21 gr.grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from Citico Bapt. Church at 11 am Thurs. Bierely in charge. Burial in church cem.
