    • Franklin was listed as the head of a family on the 1880 Census in Haines Twp., Marion Co., IL. Franklin immigrated, about 1889. Destination: Indian Territory, OK. The United States purchased land from the Indians in Oklahoma in 1889 and declared it open for homesteading. Again in 1893, the Cherokee Outlet was opened for setteling. The Five Civilized Tribes, the Cherokee, Creek, Chickasaw, Choctaw, & Seminole, sold more land to the U. S. Sometime dureing those years, 1889-1893. F. P. Luttrell's family and some related families moved to the Oklahoma Territory. In 1907, Oklahoma
