      Funeral services for Earl K. Littrell, 89, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Coos Bay Chapel with Rev. Richard Cochran officiating. Private interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Mr. Littrell, a resident of the Bay Area for the past 46 years, was born on October 6, 1892 near Raton, New Mexico and died on March 1, 1982. He moved to the area in 1936 and opened Littrell's Auto Supply. He was active in the business until just after his 75th birthday. He was an honorary member of Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary Club, a life member of Coos Bay Elks Lodge No. 1160 and a member of First Presbyterian Church in North Bend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna in 1971; his daughter, Lucille Birch in 1977; and his son, Earl Littrell, Jr. in 1965. Survivors include his daughter, Lois Newhouse of Coos Bay; sons, Marion Littrell of Coos Bay, Jack Littrell of Eugene, and Robert Littrell of Alameda, California; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty five great-grandchildren.
