  • Notes
    • BIRTH:! Birth dates from 1900 Federal Census and cemetery index online do not agree. 1900 Federal Census Monroe Co., TN has Feb 1880, age 20; cemetery index has 23 Feb 1879. Will use the census date as probably the more accurate; assume date was given by parent and it fits with her age as listed. Amanda would have been 20 years old as of the June 1 effective date of the census.

      In love she lived,
      In peace she died,
      Her life was craved,
      But God denied.
